Since Leaving Exeter have decided work here in the UK in data analytics as Digital Analytics Engineer. Been working for 2 years

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

“I chose to work in the field of data analytics because I have a natural curiosity about understanding patterns, uncovering trends, and transforming data into meaningful insights that drive decision-making. This role allows me to combine analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and my interest in working with data to help organizations make smarter, data-driven decisions. I enjoy how data can tell a story and provide clarity to complex business questions.

What I enjoy most is the opportunity to make a tangible impact. By analyzing data, I can uncover actionable insights that influence strategies, optimize processes, or solve business challenges. I also enjoy the diversity of the work—no two problems are the same, and each dataset offers a new puzzle to solve. The constant learning and growth, along with seeing my work contribute to meaningful outcomes, make the role incredibly rewarding.”

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

Choosing business analytics allowed me to get exposure to people with diverse backgrounds and learn from them. Biggest highlight was networking

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

During time offs, it was easy to travel and explore Cornwall which helped switch our minds off every once in a while. 

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Exeter being to the safest city in the UK made international students like me feel welcomed.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Analytical thinking, being open to change, exploring different cultures and learning to enjoy them!

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Network with as many professionals as possible in the field you’d like to work in, keep upskilling even when you feel you’ve achieved enough

What are your plans for the future?

Start my own consulting firm and offer services to businesses and help them thrive with data driven actionable insights
