What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I have spent 5 years working for KPMG in their FS consulting department. Before that, I taught English in Spain and interned at a software company in Buenos Aires.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

The people are talented and many of them very interesting. The nature of solving problems is fun too.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

Tennis, Polo.

Were you part of the Exeter Student Ambassador Scheme at any point during your studies?

Yes.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

Meeting friends for life – still in touch now.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

The content was challenging and interesting, and the teaching was top class for the most part.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Reputation and space outside!

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Understanding financial concepts, learning accurate report writing. And mostly the people skills, but I am not sure these were focused on enough at uni.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Try new things, spend time figuring out what you like. I still don’t know!

What are your plans for the future?

I am looking to join a smaller organisation, having cut my teeth at a huge international firm for 5 years.
