What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I am working for the University’s digital team managing software testing and biweekly releases

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I love the culture and work life balance here at the University of Exeter, very friendly colleagues and great work structure 

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I thoroughly enjoyed the intellectually stimulating curriculum of my programme, which provided a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. The biggest highlight for me was collaborating with a diverse cohort of students on group projects, which enhanced my teamwork and problem-solving skills while exposing me to different perspectives.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

I appreciated the vibrant academic environment at Exeter, supported by excellent faculty and state-of-the-art facilities. The campus itself, with its beautiful surroundings, created an inspiring atmosphere for learning. Additionally, the sense of community among students made my experience truly memorable.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I chose Exeter because of its strong reputation for academic excellence and its globally recognized programmes. The University’s focus on interdisciplinary learning and its ranking among top institutions in the UK were significant factors in my decision. Moreover, the opportunity to be part of a diverse student body was highly appealing.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

The analytical and critical thinking skills I developed during my time at Exeter have been instrumental in my career. Additionally, experiences like group projects, presentations, and networking events honed my communication and interpersonal skills, which are invaluable in professional settings.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

My advice would be to take full advantage of the resources available at Exeter—engage with professors, participate in extracurricular activities, and build a strong professional network through events and internships. Stay curious, be open to learning from every experience, and don’t hesitate to seek mentorship from alumni or industry professionals.

What are your plans for the future?

Looking ahead, I aim to further advance in my career by taking on leadership roles that allow me to drive impactful projects within my field. I am also keen on mentoring young professionals and contributing back to the Exeter community by sharing insights from my journey.
