What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Since leaving Exeter, I’ve worked in legal and compliance roles at HNA Group, Didi Group, and AviaGames, focusing primarily on cross-border business and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Currently, I continue to work in legal compliance, helping navigate complex regulatory frameworks to support international business operations effectively at AviaGames.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I chose a career in law because it’s both intellectually challenging and dynamic. The challenges go beyond winning or losing cases; they also involve staying up-to-date with constantly evolving laws and enhancing my expertise. I enjoy the continuous learning aspect of my work, as it allows me to engage with new concepts and grow professionally.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

What I enjoyed most about the program at Exeter Law School was the strong emphasis on critical thinking and practical application of legal principles. The biggest highlight was collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds, which provided new perspectives and deepened my understanding of international law. This experience has had a lasting impact on my approach to legal challenges in my career.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

What I enjoyed most about studying at Exeter was the supportive learning environment and access to excellent resources. The faculty encouraged open discussion and critical thinking, which really deepened my understanding of the law. Additionally, being surrounded by a vibrant community of students with diverse perspectives made my experience truly enriching.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I chose to study at Exeter because of its strong reputation in legal education and its emphasis on research-led teaching. The university offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of law, allowing me to explore different areas of interest. Additionally, Exeter’s beautiful campus and supportive community made it an appealing choice for my academic journey.
