Data engineering, data modelling, data analytics, data science and quantitative research.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

Where the opportunities have fallen, and aligns with my skillset. I enjoy that I get to think and solve problems every day.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

Getting to the end of the PhD.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

Being close to the sea.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

There was good funding for my PhD project.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

My research abilities which I picked up from doing the PhD and being able to manage upwards with tricky supervisors.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Take every opportunity you get – you never know where it might take you.

What are your plans for the future?

Keep on enjoying it.
