What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I continued to pursue my sporting ambitions in the British Sailing Team – continuing to sail on the world tour for the past 3 years. This was some of my most successful sailing being top 5 in the World for 2 consecutive years. Now I am applying for masters courses at various universities.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I had windsurfed since I was 10 years old, so I always had in the back of my mind that I would continue to race after I completed my degree – I wanted to see how far I could go. Travel to all corners of the World would be a highlight.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

Surf club and Sailing club.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

Interaction with like-minded people. Also learning key fundamental computational processes to help me in any future career.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

Location, fantastic facilities and great people.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Social skills, being able to work well in a diverse group – not just in your course, but in all other aspects of university living.
