I really enjoyed my final year research project and decided to continue along the road to academia.

I was a member of Out of Doors Society and the Chess Society.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I loved the content and all the modules were really interesting.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

The support from the academics in the maths department helped me so much. I don’t think I could have done it without them.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

It was a university with a good reputation, especially for maths.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Show that you are passionate and have research skills. Then network with academics in the areas you are interested in. Hopefully they can help point you towards a good project.
