What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I joined a start-up as VP of Technology after the PhD from Exeter, then resigned to start a postdoc.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy research, mainly mathematical modelling and machine learning, which has led me to this career.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I chose to study at Exeter because of its strong academic reputation, high-quality research—particularly in my field of interest—and the very beautiful campus.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

The ability to conduct thorough research and critically analyze problems has been highly beneficial.
