What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

After graduation, I had worked at insurance company as a Health & Travel Claims adjuster for 2 years. Currently I am an insurance agent and financial advisor.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I found that work at office was not my preferable style. I love talking with people, building new connections. Hence, insurance agent is pretty fit my life style. I enjoy meeting people and fact finding their financial statements, and helping them to create their holistic life balance by financial products.

I was a member of climbing club.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

It’s not difficult to be an insurance agent, but it’s quite tough to achieve to goal. Keep consistency is the key. Insurance agent is not a sale agent but someone who keen on to help people solve their financial problems in terms of loss prevention.

What are your plans for the future?

I must achieve MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) which is one of the important step to be an accountable insurance agent. I shall contribute my knowledge via social media (facebook, instagram, twitter, tiktok) . If I could achieve the goal, I may build the team of insurance agent.
