What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

I thoroughly enjoyed being involved with and studying the most up to date research in my field. As well as this, the small class sizes and collaboration across the School of Education allowed me opportunities to have discussions around and linking various topics to this research.

Some of the students we are profiling have in addition to their degree been awarded a departmental prize or award in recognition of their exceptional achievements.

I had the honour of being awarded Dean’s Commendation which means so much to me, I cannot wait to continue my research further and make my lecturers proud.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

EUWRFC during my undergraduate degree LLB Law.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

My Masters programme was the highlight of my time at Exeter, it really re-inspired my love of learning and has inspired me to continue my research into the fields that interest me.

What will you miss the most about University?

I will miss my lecturers, they really were so inspiring and supportive throughout my time and I will be forever grateful for their guidance.

What advice would you give to current and future students?

Get to know your cohort and the digital hub. The lecturers are amazing but when your device goes down right before a deadline or you need someone to sit and work with late those two groups will be your support! I will tell them that our university offers a welcoming and supportive environment. Also, you’ll find a lot of resources to help you adapt to a new culture and succeed in your studies.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I am currently applying for Phd’s to continue my research.

What I enjoyed most about my degree programme was the opportunity to explore education in both broad and specialised ways. This programme transformed my vague ambition of ‘being a good educator’ into a clear and actionable vision of fostering creativity and inclusivity in teaching. By connecting theory with practice, I gained the tools and confidence to make meaningful impacts in diverse learning environments. It was an enriching experience that deepened my passion for Arts Education and shaped my future goals.
