What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I moved to Poole to focus on my sporting career in trampolining and got a new job as an Operations Technician. So I work general working hours but trampoline in the evenings and weekends.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

It was just coincidence; I enjoy that my role is quite technical – there’s a lot of configuration in software which I also enjoy.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

It was very much like an MBA. My biggest highlight was my teacher Claire who was the Head of the masters Management programme. Rest in peace.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

Knowing that my course was ranked in the FT league tables of master programmes.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I took a liking to the university years ago.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Understanding how people behave and how to manage them accordingly.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

It’s a fake notion that everyone has everything planned out. Lots of people don’t have a plan. Choose something, and stick with it.

What are your plans for the future?

Transfer to digital team and build experience within that sector. In the next 5-10 years, I will generate a tech start-up but I don’t have a plan of which market it’ll be in.
