What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?
As an international student, what I enjoyed most about my degree program was the opportunity to engage deeply with the subject while being supported by teachers who genuinely cared about our success. I really appreciated the way they taught us, encouraging critical thinking and fostering an environment where my views and ideas were always respected and valued. This created a space where I felt comfortable to explore different perspectives and challenge myself academically. Their dedication and approach to teaching not only helped me grow intellectually but also motivated me to continue pursuing my studies with enthusiasm.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?
The highlight of my time at Exeter has been the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with my professors, where my ideas and concerns were always highly regarded. These discussions have been invaluable, allowing me to deepen my understanding and grow both academically and personally.
What will you miss the most about University?
I loved being able to stay in the library late into the night without the pressure of needing to go back home. It was a space where I could really focus and dive deep into my work, knowing I had the freedom to stay as long as I needed. The comfort and quiet of the library made it an ideal environment for studying, and the peaceful atmosphere helped me concentrate and get into a productive flow.
What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)
As an international student, I can confidently say that Exeter is an excellent choice for both academic rigor and personal support. The university has an outstanding support system—you can always get help, whether it’s with coursework or adjusting to life here. The staff are incredibly responsive; I’ve even received email replies late at night, which shows how much they care. Your personal tutor isn’t just an academic mentor, they can become someone you can rely on, even as a friend. The campus is close-knit, making it easy to feel part of the community from day one. Exeter is also a beautiful and peaceful city, ideal for studying and exploring. If you’re coming from abroad, don’t hesitate to ask questions or seek support—there’s always someone ready to help you succeed.
What are your plans now that you have graduated?
Now that I have graduated, I am actively applying for PhD opportunities. I am eager to continue my academic journey, dive deeper into my field of interest, and build a strong foundation for my future career in research.
