What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

The early clinical exposure. Very early on in our studies we get thrust into the clinical environment. This allows us to develop our confidence in dealing with patients, as well as our clinical skills. More specifically for me, it has made me better at having conversations with people, as patients are not just patients.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

Taekwondo, Calisthenics, Judo and the Exeter University First Aid Society.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

Joining the Taekwondo society and EUFAS . I’ve had fantastic teaching and made good friends at both societies.

What will you miss the most about University?

Definitely the societies that I have joined. There’s a vast range to choose from and I wish I had the time to try out a few others. However, the societies that I was a part of allowed me to take time away from focusing on my degree and do the things that I enjoy the most, sports and having fun with other people!

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

Make sure to try out lots of different societies, especially during freshers fair and stick with the ones you enjoy. And if you feel particularly confident, join a committee. You’ll not only improve your CV, but more importantly you’ll make friends for life.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I will be working as a doctor in Exeter.
