What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Working on my job, which involves combing exercise science with artificial intelligence. I’m also tutoring part time in several subjects (including sports science).

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

Because I found it interesting and saw the potential in this industry. I actually get to apply a lot of the things I learnt during my degree into my work.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I was part of the Fencing Club and other clubs/societies.

Were you part of the Exeter Student Ambassador Scheme at any point during your studies?

Yes.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I got to do a subject that I loved and there wasn’t one moment that stood out because overall it was a good programme.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

Making friends from all around the world and learning about people from all walks of life.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Because they were ranked first in the country for my programme.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Never stop expanding, there is no limit for growth.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Research what different countries have more opportunities in. For England, it is worthwhile looking at a job to do with sports. For Hong Kong, it is worthwhile looking at a job to do with exercise. Different countries have different demands for different roles.

What are your plans for the future?

To have my own startup, creating some sort of fitness mobile application.
