What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I have spent over 25 years in the finance sector working for Goldman Sachs, Schroders, UBS and Morgan Stanley.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I always had a an interest in finance and then spent school holidays working at a bank in the City.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

The combination of making friends for life and the education was perfect.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

The location the quality of education made a perfect combination.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Tenacity, hard work and being prepared to think outside the box.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Internships are a great way to leverage your way into finance.
