What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Research, consultant, and teaching and acting.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I am passionate about teaching and I love to be with young minds. Therefore I choose to be a teacher at CVM University. One of the most enjoyable part of my work is to interact with next generation on ideas about what is changing, how can we be part of it, and what can we do to bring a positive change.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I was a representative for Drama for Staff Student liaison committee.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

One of the most enjoyable part of my studies at Exeter was an exchange of ideas among the students from different cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds. It opened a world of opportunity for all of us in one or the other ways.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

Exeter city and the welcoming people around made my stay not only pleasurable but also exciting as the city offered cultural extravaganza.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Exeter was and perhaps is the only University in the world which had a research project on British South Asian Theatre and Prof Graham Ley introduce d me to be a part of the next generation of researchers in the area.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Sessions for PhDs were designed and conducted in such a manner that teaching, researching, and presentation skills along with skills such as networking, fund raising, and inter cultural communication skills are useful when I perform my daily tasks a university teacher.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Make most of your time at the University, there are millions of opportunities for personal and professional growth. If unsure, go to SID , they are the most professional helpers out there to shape our world.
