What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

Meeting other language enthusiasts with whom I could share my passion for language learning.

Some of the students we are profiling have been awarded a departmental prize or award in recognition of their exceptional achievements. If this applies to you, please can you tell us about this and what it means to you?

I have received the ‘Bertie Black Prize’, for the highest overall mark as a final year Italian student. I feel very honoured to receive such a prize, especially considering the high quality of the year group as a whole. It’s certainly an achievement that I will always remember.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

XpressionFM.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

The time I spent with XpressionFM, the student radio station. I met a lot of lovely people there and conjured up a real love for student radio.

What will you miss the most about University?

My friends.

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, try and find a system that works for you, and make yourself happy. Studying is a lot easier when you’re in the right frame of mind.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

On to a Masters at UCL in International Public Policy.
