Focusing on work that has a social dimension, touching on topics such as gender equality. Currently I work on DEI, from strategic decision making to implementing programmes at EVBox.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I could make sure business had a social objective, which also helps the business to be more innovative in their approach in the market

The Sociology Society.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

The quality of teaching and resources.

The quality of life and work life balance.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I enjoyed the topics that they were teaching in the sociology department.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Skills are mainly soft skills, from empathy to strategic decision making. With experiences I would advice students to go abroad and especially to a developing country to help broaden their minds and approach problems with a more critical mindset that can help better the lives of others.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Think more about transferable skills, and how these soft skills enable you to solve social problems but in a different industry.

What are your plans for the future?

To create greater impact socially for my company, not just internally but also externally.
