What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Working in senior management and now as a director of technology companies specifically focusing on HR and Employee well-being benefits. I apply my machine learning PhD experience in these roles architecting warning and recommendation systems.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

Practical application of my knowledge and experience. Working with and building teams.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

The staff, colleagues and campus.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Mix of quality of department, style of campus, town and access to sea.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Professional skills (time management, etc), critical thinking, scientific analysis, problem solving, ability to construct and convey concepts.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Practice technical skills constantly on top of study. Learn how to work with people and manage projects.

What are your plans for the future?

Further the GoSweat mission and grow the company.
