What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Worked in the private sector as an Engineer until 2005 and then in the public sector in the Technical Engineering Department of the Prefecture of Attica. After in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki in the Department of Design and Planning. From 2011 in the Department of EU-funded programs of the Region of Central Macedonia and from 2017 in my current position.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I thought I liked Engineering but since I did my master’s at the University of Exeter I realized whether I enjoy the Management of projects engineering or not.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I was a member of the Greek society.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I enjoyed attending so many different courses like law, quality procedures, genetic algorithms, maths, and economics, and we had to choose our dissertation from the list provided to graduates.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

Everyone was professional and supportive. I really enjoyed my studies, there were very interesting but at the same time, I was feeling safe and heard.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I liked the subject of the Master’s and at the same time, we could afford the fees.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Communication Skills, learning new fields, and being open-minded.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Be a part of the team of the University involved in EU-funded projects.

What are your plans for the future?

Work in a European Organisation in my field of expertise.
