What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

Being able to experience life in a new country has been the highlight. Although there are similarities, there are also many differences, and living in Europe has been lifechanging.

What will you miss the most about University?

The ability to meet new people whilst being apart of clubs and societies.

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

Get out and explore the area, especially if you’re not from here. Exeter, and Devon as a whole is so beautiful.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I am staying in Exeter for the time being, and am currently employed at the Exeter Students’ Guild.

Since graduating in 2020, I have worked across a variety of senior strategic roles within the NHS. I started working as a Governance Manager, leading patient safety investigations, divisional governance meetings and overseeing risk management for an acute hospital. Following this, I was System Equality Diversity and Inclusion Lead for NHS Devon bringing together EDI strategy, projects and communications for health and care organisations across Devon. I then become System Workforce Business Partner for NHS Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, leading on their retention programme. My portfolio was then expanded to include recruitment, international recruitment and wellbeing. I was then seconded into NHS England to lead the People Promise Exemplar Programme for the South West, alongside the supporting the wider retention programme.
