What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

What I enjoyed the most was the ability to take part in the Access to Justice Legal Clinic in my final year, and being able to get real world experience and the opportunity to take on real clients, and help make a difference in their lives.

Law Society, Exeter Education Incubator Fellow

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

Being able to experience life in a new country has been the highlight. Although there are similarities, there are also many differences, and living in Europe has been lifechanging.

What will you miss the most about University?

The ability to meet new people whilst being apart of clubs and societies.

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

Get out and explore the area, especially if you’re not from here. Exeter, and Devon as a whole is so beautiful.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I am staying in Exeter for the time being, and am currently employed at the Exeter Students’ Guild.

I thoroughly enjoyed the variety of modules available during my final year, which allowed me to explore areas of law that I was genuinely interested in. In particular, I loved working in the Exeter Community Law Clinic as part of the Access to Justice module, as I was able to use the knowledge and skills I had acquired to provide free advice to real people facing a wide range of legal issues. I found this experience to be both rewarding and extremely beneficial for my professional development.
