What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

I enjoyed the variety of modules that allowed me to gain skills both in electronics and engineering in general.

Some of the students were are profiling have in addition to their degree been awarded a departmental prize or award in recognition of their exceptional achievements. If this applies to you please can you tell us about the award you have received and what this award means to you?

I received the IET prize from the institute of engineering technology. Receiving it was an unexpected and pleasant surprise which was a nice acknowledgement of the work I’ve done this year.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

Breakdancing society, Kung Fu society.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

I think my highlight was my final master’s year, as I got to meet so many new people, had great housemates and a great master’s project group.

What will you miss the most about University?

I’ll definitely miss the people the most as well as the amount of unscheduled time. Members of staff such as the people in the electronics lab and my final year supervisor will also be missed as they gave excellent advice and support.

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

My advice would be to attend anything that looks fun, and not stress too much. Everything will be fine. Also if you’re really bored write an hour of your essay. Your future self will thank you.

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

I have a job in Winchester as a software engineer so am moving there.
