What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I have worked in an international school in Abu Dhabi as a SENCO and then I co-founded a skills development center in 2011. We have worked with more than a 1000 students to improve their cognitive skills and change their lives.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

It is related to my background in Special Educational Needs. I enjoy empowering others and giving them tools to be more successful in their lives.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I enjoyed working with the professors at the school of Education and Lifelong Learning as I learned a lot from them. Biggest highlight was the field work and going into schools to do my research.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

Exeter is a very nice place to be! Loved the international community and the vibe of the city is so lovely. It is cozy and very student oriented.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

The University has a great reputation and I enjoyed being in the South West of England where it’s warmer and very green!

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

The time I spent in schools doing my research.
