What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

After graduating, I did a few internships with banks in London. Then, I worked in trade finance for a year in South East Asia while studying for the CFA qualification. I am now doing MSc Finance at the University of Warwick.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I wanted to move back to the banking side of finance so I thought doing a masters would be the best way forward

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I liked how there was a wide variety of modules we could pick from for our electives

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

I enjoyed Exeter. Being a ‘student city’ the vibe is just so different compared to bigger cities

Highly ranked uni and course

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Networking, being proactive, and being able to learn things quickly 

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

Do as many internships as possible so it’s easier to decide on what you really want to do

What are your plans for the future?

Maybe try getting on to a graduate scheme or off-cycle role.
