What did you enjoy most about your degree programme?

Very challenging with a lot to learn from

Some of the students we are profiling have been awarded a departmental prize or award in recognition of their exceptional achievements. If this applies to you, please can you tell us about this and what it means to you?

Dean Commendation Award for being a student representative. I am thankful to have received this award as contribution to making the lives of Computer Science students at Exeter Uni better.

What was the highlight of your time at Exeter?

Great opportunity to make connections at the start of my career journey.

What will you miss the most about University?

Doing revision with my study group and debating complex problems.

What advice would you give to current and future students? (If you are an international student what would you like to tell future students from back home who might be thinking about applying to study in Exeter?)

Look for internships and part time work relevant to your field from your first year, they will make getting a job post graduation much easier. For students from Romania particularly, don’t be afraid of change, you are much more likely to come out with a successful career from University of Exeter than most universities anywhere else!

What are your plans now that you have graduated?

Continuing to grow my set of skills as a Software Engineer.
