What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?
Since Exeter, I have been working with cultural organisations, art galleries, and museums like the local Royal Albert Memorial Museum Exeter. Following an academic stint in Venice at the School for Curatorial Studies in 2023, I have returned to my homeland to further the visibility of South Asian art and artists. I currently manage Vadehra Art Gallery in New Delhi, India, while writing on the art discourse independently.
Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?
Always inspired by art and culture, I took on this career for not just personal development but also to contribute to putting South Asia on the global art map. I enjoy meeting artists from across the world. However, interacting with South Asian artists has educated me about the diversity of histories, narratives and art forms that exist in my regional vicinity. The endless knowledge I am constantly exposed to happens to be the best part of my career.
What did you most enjoy about studying here?
The campus and the supportive faculty.
Why did you choose to study at Exeter?
The balance of the course I chose to study and the local environment.
