Current Employer/Organisation Name
Business for Societal Impact (B4SI)
What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?
For about 5 years post finishing the MBA, I worked around the topic of responsible sourcing of minerals and metals supply chain, and for the last couple of years I’ve been focusing my work on corporate social impact, supporting companies in measuring, managing and reporting on the social impact of their community investment.
Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?
I value that my role is industry‑agnostic, giving me the opportunity to work with a wide range of organisations. I also appreciate the structured methodological approach and the strong focus on social impact.
Additionally, the role has enabled me to develop complementary skills in business development, project delivery, client engagement, and people management.
What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?
I really valued the multicultural cohort, the real‑life client experience gained through our consultancy projects, and the first‑hand exposure to local networks.
My personal highlight was the leadership course in Norway — a truly once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience and something I’ll never forget.
What did you most enjoy about studying here?
Beyond the academic experience, the people were the highlight. I’ve built meaningful, long‑term friendships with classmates I met through the course. I also really enjoyed living in the city and exploring everything it has to offer.
Why did you choose to study at Exeter?
I chose Exeter because the programme offered the right balance of content and approach for what I was looking for at the time. I was also drawn to the strong connections with local brands and companies.
What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?
Studying here gave me valuable insight into working with British clients and organisations. It also provided a safe and respected local platform to demonstrate my language level, as well as my business and sustainability‑related knowledge and skills.
What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?
Show up to events, engage with people they are interested in.
What are your plans for the future?
Looking ahead, I plan to keep strengthening my professional skills and exploring opportunities that align with my values and interests. I’m excited to continue growing and to take on new challenges as they come.
