What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I am currently working with Merkle/ Dentsu as a Digital Analytics Associate. I am tasked with implementing Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and custom Google Tag Manager (GTM) solutions for MNCs and state-sponsored institutions.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I chose this career because the future is increasingly digital, and it allows me to learn something new every day. My job allows me the opportunity to enhance my skillset by becoming proficient in Looker Studio, Big Query and Firebase just to name a few tools that are critical for being a well rounded analyst

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

I enjoyed the lively campus life and incredibly green campus, furthermore, my program allowed me to conceptualize broader concepts which helped me look at problems through a multi-faceted view.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

The incredibly beautiful campus and the people who I had the pleasure of knowing.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

Because it remains one of the most prestigious institutions in the United Kingdom. Coupled with the fact that life in Devon is scenic and extremely charming.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

What really shaped my understanding of the international marketing space was the seminars in marketing that we had during our program. Also learning the fundamentals of GA4 and GTM really helped me in landing interviews and eventually getting a job.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

The pursuit of knowledge needs to be a lifelong endeavor. The university will provide you with the foundation you need to be successful in life, but the effort and determination need to come from you.

What are your plans for the future?

To become an established professional in the digital analytics space.
