What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

I have continued to pursue higher education, doing a MSc at Imperial College London. Finishing that programme, I have completed an internship at Bank of America in Shanghai and returned in 2024.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I was drawn to researching companies and financial analysis while completing my studies, so the chance to do this for a multinational bank is a great opportunity for me to continue this path.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I have participated in the EXSIF events and looked at other societies. I have not participated in sports groups but I have frequently played badminton and football at the hill top gym.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

The entire process, but thinking back the in-person years before the pandemic was so much more enjoyable with everyone around face to face.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

The serene environment to both study and relax will be a privilege I will miss greatly. You cannot ask for anything more than being in a beautifully relaxing and compact town with your friends around you

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

The industrial placement program was a unique attraction for me as it allowed for you to quickly combine an put some skills you have learned in your first 2 years into the industry. Then with some working experience, coming back for your final year allows you to better tailor what to study and more importantly to decide on your career in the future.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

Continue networking and read up more on areas you are interest in.
