What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

Since graduating I have been working with Fishtek as an Environmental Consultant.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I choose this career path following my year in placement; I had worked with Fishtek before and really enjoyed it – the team were extremely knowledgeable and the work I was doing was innovative, in line with my interests and my passion as an environmentalist.

Please tell us if you were a member of any societies, groups or sports clubs?

I was a member of CSM Netball for 3 years and was Captain for one of those years.

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

The variety and depth of technical detail the course offered. For example, the trips to the Scottish Highlands and Isles of Scilly, and the opportunity to learn and apply GIS and statistical analysis in RStudio – all skills which I now find vital in my day to day work.

What did you most enjoy about studying here?

Living in Falmouth and sharing a passion with the students on my course.
