Evangelia Panaretaki
What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?
I have been working 2 jobs to survive, mostly as a Professor and personal trainer, but when unemployed, I became a Fitness Manager.
Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?
I love Sports, so I enjoy teaching them.
What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?
I enjoyed learning about the ethical considerations of a study. The biggest highlight of this was when I realised that you cannot measure the thigh of a child alone in a small room; you have to be with another adult person.
What did you most enjoy about studying here?
No bias.
Why did you choose to study at Exeter?
It was suggested to me by a Greek Sport Scientist. He said it was good and that it is not like Loughborough. In Exeter you can also have some fun.
What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?
It counts 10 grades at every application in the public area that I do. So it is important in order to get the job.
It has helped me with organising my classes, and as a role model.
What are your plans for the future?
I will apply as a Professor in Fitness coaches in Heraklion. Public Vocational Institute.
