What have you been doing since leaving Exeter, and what are you doing now?

After graduation I was able to enjoy my summer off by visiting family in California. Now, I have just started my management graduate scheme at a Hilton hotel.

Why did you choose this career? And what do you enjoy most about your work?

I chose this career because I love helping people and meeting new individuals from all over the world. Hilton is known for having a very strong culture which values these things.

Hip Hop Society, Business Society, Women in Business, SUP Society

What did you enjoy most about your programme and what was the biggest highlight?

The people were the most amazing thing about the program. Both lecturers and fellow students were so supportive and encouraging. I really enjoyed the networking events the Business School put on for us.

What did you enjoy most about studying here?

I was at the Cornwall campus, so I really enjoyed being by the beach and having smaller class sizes so I could establish a close relationship with my course mates and lecturers.

Why did you choose to study at Exeter?

I chose Exeter because it is known for being a very good university where lecturers share their passion for their subjects.

What skills and experiences have been most useful for your career?

I have found that the employability skills we learned and developed throughout the 3 years were essential for me to get the job I have now.

What advice would you give to a current student who wishes to pursue your career?

I would say, keep going. No matter what happens, good or bad, be resilient. Do not let difficulties stop you.

What are your plans for the future?

I would like to become a manager of the conferences and events department in a Hilton and I want to live in many different countries.
